Surflare is committed to protecting your privacy. We want you to understand what information we collect, what we don't collect, and how we collect, use, and store information.
This privacy policy will help you understand how Surflare ( "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and stores information.
Our guiding principle toward data collection is to collect only the minimal data required to operate our services at scale. We designed our systems to not have sensitive data about our customers; even when compelled, we cannot provide data that we do not possess.
Surflare is committed to protecting your digital privacy. Our privacy policy can be divided into three major parts: privacy policy when visiting our website, privacy policy when using our VPN service, and privacy policy when using our Dedicated IP or IP proxy services. Each of these is explained in detail below.
We do not collect logs of your activity when using our VPN service, including no logging of browsing history, traffic destination, data content, or DNS queries. We also never store connection logs, meaning no logs of your IP address, your outgoing VPN IP address, connection timestamp, or session duration.
Surflare VPN servers use standard hardware, but all VPN connection data — including your IP address, session details, and browsing activity — is processed exclusively in volatile memory (RAM) and is never written to disk. This means there is nothing on disk to recover. Every server restart automatically clears all in-memory records, so even under a court order, we have no data to hand over.
We may log data such as access time, target domain, and assigned IP address when using our Dedicated IP and IP Proxy services, in order to deliver and maintain these services, calculate bandwidth usage, and detect and prevent abuse or fraud.
Surflare will only send you e-mails that are absolutely crucial for proper functioning of our services. When you sign up, we will send you an e-mail to confirm your e-mail address. We will also send you an e-mail whenever any purchase is made on Surflare website. We send no newsletter to our clients by default. You can manually enable receiving of newsletter and other membership-related e-mails in memberzone account settings. You can unsubscribe as well any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link present in the footer of all our e-mails or by changing settings in memberzone. Your e-mail address is never shared with any 3rd party.
