Hardware Warranty & Return Policy

1. Return Policy (Change of Mind)

You may return your Surflare VPN Router within 7 days of receiving the product. The 7-day period starts from the day the goods are in your possession.

Return Conditions

  • The product must be unopened and in its original sealed packaging
  • The product must be in resalable condition
  • All original accessories, cables, power adapter, and packaging must be included
  • The original proof of purchase must be provided

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for the return.

We reserve the right to reject return requests outside the 7-day return window.

2. Refund Processing (Change of Mind)

This section applies to non-defective product returns (change of mind within 7 days). For defective products under warranty, please refer to Section 4.

Refunds for hardware returns will be processed after the returned device has been received and inspected by our team. This inspection typically takes 3-5 business days.

Once approved, refunds are processed within seven (7) business days and are made to the original payment method used for purchase.

Refund Deductions

  • Transaction fees charged by payment institutions (normally 3.4% + $0.4 USD) will NOT be refunded
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and will NOT be refunded
  • If the product shows signs of use beyond normal inspection, the refund amount may be reduced accordingly
  • Missing accessories or packaging may result in deductions from the refund amount

All refunds are sent in USD. The refund amount may differ from the amount originally paid in local currency due to exchange rate fluctuations.

3. Limited Warranty

Surflare warrants that each new Surflare VPN Router is free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This limited warranty is valid for one (1) year from the date of original purchase.

Warranty Coverage

  • Manufacturing defects in materials
  • Defects in workmanship under normal use
  • Hardware component failures not caused by user damage

What Is a Product Defect

A product defect refers to hardware failures caused by manufacturing issues in materials or workmanship, not caused by user actions or external factors. Defect determination is made by Surflare technical team based on submitted evidence.

What Is NOT a Product Defect

  • User-caused damage: drops, crushing, water damage, unauthorized disassembly
  • Accidental damage: fire, flood, or other force majeure events
  • Electrical damage: power surges, lightning strikes, voltage instability
  • Normal wear and tear: scratches, discoloration on casing
  • Software issues: problems that can be resolved through firmware updates
  • Performance issues: network speed or signal strength affected by environment
  • Compatibility issues: incompatibility with specific devices
  • Configuration issues: problems caused by user setup errors

Warranty Eligibility

This warranty applies only to Surflare VPN Routers purchased directly from Surflare official website or authorized resellers. Products purchased from unauthorized sellers are not covered by this warranty.

4. Defective Product Replacement

If your Surflare VPN Router is proven to be defective within the warranty period, we will replace it free of charge.

How to Request a Replacement

To start the replacement process, please contact our support team via Live Chat or email with the following information:

  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
  • Device serial number
  • Detailed description of the defect
  • A video clearly demonstrating the defect (required)

Unboxing Video Recommendation

We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video when you receive your Surflare VPN Router. This video can serve as important evidence if you need to file a warranty claim for defects present upon arrival.

Shipping for Defective Products

Return shipping costs for defective products are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Once we receive and verify the defect, a replacement unit will be shipped to you at no additional cost.

We reserve the right to refuse replacement for items damaged due to customer negligence, misuse, or tampering.
